Starbucks continues to support Howard Schultz’s book launch which we all know is a tool being used in attempt to generate publicity for the ramp-up to announcing his independent bid for president. Now they’re cautioning employees about talking politics. They don’t seem to mind that their “CEO Emeritus” is about to launch a campaign that will help re-elect a president whose actions directly contradict Starbuck’s stated values. Shareholders should know that Starbucks continues to promote Schultz and retain his “CEO Emeritus” title.
